Gamers have until tonight to register for the EAFC and Tekken tournaments at Ramadan E-Sports Festival 2K26, marking the final opportunity to participate in this popular competitive gaming event.

Organized by Oordeoo Nation in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art, the festival returns for its second consecutive year, continuing its mission to empower youth engagement, foster competitive gaming culture, and create inclusive digital recreation spaces during Ramadan.

The festival features both online and in-person tournament formats. The PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) competitions are being held online, with registrations already closed. Matches for these titles are scheduled to begin on Wednesday and conclude by Saturday.

Meanwhile, the EAFC and Tekken tournaments will take place as LAN events at Youth Hub, offering players a live competitive environment.

Registration for these categories closes at 11:59 pm Wednesday, with matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Beyond competitive play, the festival also offers a vibrant public gaming experience. Visitors to Youth Hub can enjoy a range of interactive gaming stations, including Beat Saber, Racing Simulator, Nintendo Sports, Mortal Kombat, and EAFC, creating an accessible and engaging atmosphere for both seasoned gamers and newcomers.

The Ramadan E-Sports Festival 2K26 highlights the growing role of e-sports in youth development, digital skills, and community engagement in the Maldives. By combining competition, entertainment, and public participation, the festival continues to position gaming as a positive platform for connection and creativity.
